The Association, NATIONAL AGENCY FOR PROTECTING CHILDREN AT RISK AND COOPERATION IN INTERNATIONAL ADOPTIONS, is registered by decision of Sofia City Court of 23 July 2003 and is entered in the Central Register of non-profit corporations engaged in socially useful activities under No. 20031009018, as per the activities of an organization-intermediary in international adoptions specified in the Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in the Field of International Adoptions of 29 May 1993, the Family code, and ORDINANCE No. 3 of 03 September 2003 on the terms and procedure of giving consent to the adoption of a Bulgarian citizen on the part of a foreigner.

     The association is in a possession of CERTIFICATE OF LICENSE No. 6 issued on 17 December 2003 by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Bulgaria, whereby it is authorized to act as an intermediary in international adoptions.

     The accredited organization is licensed to provide intermediary services to the following countries:      USA,  ITALY,  SPAIN,  CANADA,  GERMANY,  ANDORRA,  FRANCE,
SWITZERLAND,  CYPRUS
