Association NATIONAL AGENCY FOR PROTECTING CHILDREN AT RISK AND COOPERATION IN INTERNATIONAL ADOPTIONS is registered and aims at the following objectives:

• cooperation in respect of intercountry adoption;
• consulting and legal assistance of the applying adoptive parents;
• realization and participation in projects concerning the social integration and protection of children at risk;
• cooperation with the relevant services and institutions in the country and abroad, which perform child protection activities;
• to organize education and qualification courses for preparing specialists participating in the adoption process;
• protection of kidnapped and abandoned children;
• protection in all forms of discrimination of children;
• protection in respect of illegal intervention against child’s personality;
• social protection and cooperation in respect of rehabilitation and social adaptation of children with injuries and non-equivalent social status.

     The means by which the association is going to achieve its purposes are:

• development, introduction and distribution of modern concepts of coordinating the interests of the children and the adoptive parents;
• rendering assistance and information cooperation of the interested parties and authorities in the adoption process;
• carrying out activities (seminars, conferences, courses and lectures) on the issues of the intercountry adoption;
• protection of the children at risk and with non-equivalent social status, development, participation in joint development and issuing specialized editions in the field of the issues of children rights protection;
• organizing activities, directed towards stimulation and coordination of the efforts of non-governmental, governmental and international organizations in the sphere of the intercountry adoptions;
• application and participation, both individually and jointly, in different projects and programs in the field of the child protection and providing social services and rehabilitation of children with injuries;
• adaptation and direct application of modern concepts and standards in the field of legal and social prevention and protection of the children at risk.
